Kegiatan inipun diawali dengan Jalan Sehat yang dibuka langsung oleh Walikota Tangerang Selatan Hj. Airin Rachmi Diany. Yang dilanjutkan dengan pengundian berbagai macam door prize, Bazaar, Donor darah, serta peragaan mengenai darurat bencana alam.
Dalam acara tersebut Juli selaku Wakil Ketua Panitia menjelaskan bahwa, dalam HUT Kelurahan Benda Baru yang ke-36 ini ingin menjadikan semua masyarakat Kelurahan tumbuh berkembang.
“Maka dari itu kami mengangkat tema “Tangguh Bertumbuh”, sehingga masyarakat dapat lebih apresiasi dalam menumbuh kembangkan lingkungan, terutama dari segi Kesehatan, Keamanan, Kebersihan, dan bagaimana bahayanya Narkoba bagi diri kita. Sekitar 27 RW mengikuti Bazaar yang kami adakan, sehingga acara ini semakin meriah.” Ujar Juli
Sementara itu, Dr. Suhara selaku Ketua PMI Tangsel pun mendukung penuh dengan adanya kegiatan seperti ini. Walaupun masyarakat belum banyak yang mau mendonorkan darahnya.
