Teropong Post, Lampung, – Selasa 28 Juli 2020 petani yang berjalan kaki dari Medan ke Jakarta telah tiba di Lampung Kecamatan Sukadana.
Mereka disambut hangat oleh Walhi, KPA, NU, kawan kawan gerakan buruh dan penggiat agraria lainya. Serta disambut oleh petani Moro Moro Jambi, yang kemudian mereka bermalam digedung Islamic Center Sukadana.
Pagi harinya mereka berjalan lagi menuju Kota Lampung untuk kembali meneruskan perjalanan sampai dengan hari Kamis. Kemungkinan teman teman masih ada di Lampung untuk beristirahat dikarenakan hari Jumat adalah Hari Lebaran Haji lalu dihari Sabtu Dan Minggu tanggal merah, sekaligus 3 hari ini waktu untuk beristirahat memulihkan stamina peserta aksi.
Baru Senin pagi melanjutkan perjalanan menuju Bakauheni dan menyebrang ke Merak kemudian terus bergerak berjalan kaki menuju Istana Negara Jakarta untuk bertenda didepan Istana sampai ditemui dengan Bapak Presiden Jokowi dan meminta diselesaikan kasus konflik agraria yang sudah berlarut larut dan tidak kunjung selesai di Simalingkar dan Sei Mencirim.
Haris Suyono selaku koordinator aksi mengatakan “Sudah terhitung 35 hari kami berjalan kaki mulai dari tanggal 25 juni hingga saat ini, namun Pemerintah Daerah Sumatera Utara tetap bungkam hingga saat ini.
Dan yang lebih mengejutkan tanggal 28 Juli sampai dengan tanggal 29 Juli ini, ada kunjungan dari Kementrian Agraria dan Tata Ruang ke Sumatra Utara namun bukan membahas soal konflik agraria yg terjadi di Simalingkar dan Sei Mencirim yang dimana petaninya sedang berjalan kaki mencari keadilan dan telah berjalan kaki menempuh jarak ribuan kilometer ini, namun justru membahas soal tanah Bandara Landasan Udara Polonia dan membahas soal penyerahan sertifikat untuk Islamic Center yang merupakan aset Pemda yg dibeli dari tanah SK hgu PTPN II.” tuturnya
Haris Suyono meneruskan “Ini semakin membuktikan bahwa Pemerintah Daerah Sumut dan Kementrian Agraria yaitu Sofyan Jalil menganggap masalah petani yang berjalan kaki adalah masalah yg biasa biasa saja dan lebih mementingkan kepentingan yang lain dan itu tidak mendesak keadannya.
Kami akan terus berjalan dan akan segera tiba di Merak dan kami pastikan kami akan bertenda didepan Istana hingga kami mendapatkan keadilan dari negara, yaitu tanah bersertifikat sebagai bentuk kepastian hukum dan kami ingin memastikan negara benar benar bisa menjamin keberadaan dan kesejahteraan kami.” pungkasnya
