Demo itu untuk meminta pabrik peleburan besi ditutup lantaran diduga telah mencemari udara dan berdampak pada warga perumahan Grand Puri Asih Desa Kadu Jaya Kecamatan Curug Kabupaten Tangerang. Sabtu (8/8/2020).
Koordinator aksi Afif Burhan mengatakan, masyarakat mengeluhkan polusi yang diduga akibat kegiatan operasional PT. Multi Sarana sakti, diantaranya polusi udara, asap, debu, dan bising. Sebetulnya, masyarakat sudah berittikad baik menyampaikan keluhan melalui aparat desa sejak 2017. Namun keluhan itu tidak digubris malah membangun peluasan pabrik yang membuat persoalan baru.
“Oleh karena itu, terpaksa masyarakat menggelar unjuk rasa. Bahkan kami juga sudah mengadukan keluhan ini kepada instansi terkait,” kata Afif disela-sela aksi.
Ditempat yang sama ketua Lembaga AMPEL Indonesia Mengatakan, kami dari lembaga Lingkungan Hidup AMPEL Indonesia sudah mengirimkan surat ke Bupati Tangerang dan menembuskan surat kepada kementerian KLH, Gakum KLH, Kejaksaan Negeri Tigaraksa, DPRD Kabupaten Tangerang, Dinas Lingkungan Hidup, wasdal, Satpol PP untuk menindak perusahaan yang diduga melakukan pencemaran lingkungan kepada masyarakat Desa Kadu Jaya Kecamatan Curug.
Ketua Lembaga AMPEL Indonesia yang biasa di sapa Bung Guruh menegaskan, “Pemda Kabupaten Tangerang harus tegas kepada setiap perusahaan yang melanggar ketentuan undang undang dan peraturan pemerintah pusat maupun daerah, saya menduga kuat PT. MSS melakukan pelanggaran terkait Lingkungan hidup, dan pemerintah daerah Kabupaten harus ambil tindakan tegas,” tegasnya ketua Ampel Indonesia. (Red/Rby)
