Sungai Jeletreng mulai tercemar Limbah dari Tekno BSD

Teropongpost, Tangsel, –Sungai Jeletreng adalah anak sungai dari sungai Cisadane dengan Panjang 10,5 Kilometer yang menjadi pengairan utama atau pembuangan utama para warga Setu termasuk beberapa Perusahaan.

Namun, Sungai yang memang menjadi aliran pembuangan terkadang disalahgunakan. Dari membuang sampah plastik, kardus, dan lain-lainnya.
Sehingga dampak buang sampah sembarangan itu dapat mengakibatkan banjir, atau kerusakan ekosistem lainnya.

Dan akhir-akhir inipun, beberapa Warga Setu termasuk para pemuda mulai resah dengan keadaan sungai yang tercemar limbah tersebut. Karena ada beberapa Perusahaan yang nakal atau tidak tahu aturan tentang limbah tersebut, sehingga dengan mudahnya membuang tanpa memikirkan lingkungan sekitar.

Salah satu Warga Setu saat ditemui pun mengatakan bahwa, sungai jeletreng tersebut entah sudah terkontaminasi oleh limbah industri atau tidak, tetapi beliau melihat jelas beberapa ikan mati dengan tertutup oleh busa.

“Ada ikan sapu-sapu saya lihat mati mengambang di atas air, padahal kan ikan sapu-sapu itu memiliki daya tahan tubuh yang kuat. Berarti airnya sangat berbahaya atau beracun”. Ujar Warga yang tidak ingin disebutkan namanya tersebut

“Biasanya Perusahaan telah menyiapkan bak penampungan untuk limbah, lalu diolah kembali agar tidak berbahaya nantinya, dan regulasinya memang harus seperti itu kan”. Pungkasnya

Holil salah satu warga yang hobi memancing di sungai ini mengatakan, “saya sering melihat limbah keluar dari gorong gorong dengan berbentuk busa, dan limbah keluar ini jamnya tidak tentu. Tetapi yang kelihatan busanya sangat banyak di dekat taman kota itu”. Ungkapnya

 

Godel selaku Koordinator Komunitas Sekber Jeletreng yang rutin melakukan kegiatan bersih-bersih sungai ini pun menjelaskan bahwa, mereka belum tahu pasti apakah limbah tersebut berbahaya atau tidak. Tetapi mereka akan mencoba mencari data dan informasi terkait dengan limbah itu.
“Memang kami fokus untuk membersihkan sampah di sungai ini terlebih dahulu, untuk masalah limbah kita akan memperkuat solidaritas Komunitas Sekber Jeletreng.” Ungkap Godel

Pasal nya pembuangan yang dilakukan Perusahaan dari Tekno BSD ini tidak menentu jamnya, sehingga warga atau komunitas Sekber Jeletreng tidak dapat memergoki pembuangan tersebut.

Dari masalah yang dihadapi ini, komunitas Sekber Jeletreng ini akan mengkaji lebih dalam lagi terkait pencemaran limbah. Yang tertera dalam Pasal 1 angka 14 UU No. 32 Tahun 2009 Tentang Perlindungan Dan Pengelolaan Lingkungan Hidup adalah masuk atau dimasukkannya makhluk hidup, zat, energi, dan/atau komponen lain ke dalam lingkungan hidup oleh kegiatan manusia sehingga melampaui baku mutu lingkungan hidup yang telah ditetapkan.
